During her year of service as Miss Oklahoma 1999, Daneka Allen Pennington traveled more than 60,000 miles getting to know the state’s places and people. A Cum Laude graduate from Oklahoma City University, she also obtained her MBA in marketing from OCU with honors. Her travels continue in her current role as a marketing consultant for the State of Oklahoma Tourism Department.
